Location: Forada

Named After: Named after the turtles seen there

Elevation: 1,384 feet (422 meters) above sea level 

Size: 218 acres  

Average Depth: 7 ft

Maximum Depth: 21 ft

Lake: 45.7748709, -95.4020232

Specializes in: Bass and walleye 

Other Species:  black bullhead, black crappie, bluegill, brown bullhead, green sunfish, hybrid sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, pumpkinseed, walleye, yellow bullhead, yellow perch, bowfin (dogfish), common carp, white sucker, bluntnose minnow, Iowa darter, spottail shiner

Fun Facts: Currently infested with zebra mussels

Features: Good fishing and a quite lake

Public Access: 7 miles SW of Alexandria off County Rd 88 on the south shore.
